Framing Tips 1 - The frame and matting should never
draw more attention to itself then to the artword - it is there
to enhance and protect the artwork and not to stand out on its
own.

Framing Tips 2 - Basic supplies for framing family

Framing Tips 3 - Glass selection is very important.
If you are trying to preserve anything that is worth monetary
or sentimental value, using a UV coated glass is very important.
It is more expensive then clear glass, but it will protect your
print from a majority of harmful UV rays that fade your print.

Framing Tips 4 - When choosing mat boards there are
a lot of things to consider. First and foremost the art work
it is surrounding. It should never over-power the displayed
print. The best choice is a mat board that the color intensity
is less than the subject and is closer to neutral.

Framing Tips 5 - While it is not necessary to use
a mat board when framing, it will help prevent moisture. The
mat board separates the photograph from the glass surface creating
an air gap.

acid free mat boards to frame with. These mats may cost a little
